The idea of this controller is AWESOME. But this controller is made really cheap, also the videos i have seen from the manufacturer are awesome. It just doesn't work like it should. Maybe if you had lots and LOTS of time to tweak it you could get it working right but I would not recommend this controller for anyone that just wants to plug it in and start playing.

I have v1 of the Frag and loved it. I was very excited when the wireless version came out. I read the bad reviews, but I figured people were just exaggerating how bad it was, and I really wanted one. Well, it goes back in the mail today (assuming the seller lets me return it).
I've downloaded and installed two firmware upgrades (11/30 and 12/3) and neither one made any difference. Oh yeah - upgrading the firmware is quite a task! Constantly starting and stopping the control panel software while inserting and removing the dongle from the computer. You have to do it for each piece of hardware.
Anyway, the mouse jumps around on the screen when trying to zoom in on the enemy. Sometimes no signal is sent out at all and the aiming doesn't even move. They have a new firmware due out on 12/18 and I emailed SplitFish asking if this will really be a reliable fix or not. But they never responded to me. I don't want to lose $100 on something that doesn't work, and the 30 day return policy is about to expire, so I'm sending it back. I hope that in a few months they will fix this and the reviews will get better. Then I'll buy it again. Till then, I'll stick with v1 and the tangle of wires.

Have not, as yet, started to feel comfortable with this controller. That being said, it is great for aiming. The firmware was quirky and am expecting another upgrade soon. The first upgrade did help increase the sensitivity and speed of the mouse. The mouse is huge and clunky and I do not have small hands. The frag button on the "frag chuck" is a great idea, but virtually impossible to use. The L1 and the frag button need to pressed at the same time with the same finger and this move is difficult to groove. Connection has been lost a few times even with only about 4ft distance to the wireless adapter and that can be infuriating during a fierce firefight. All of this sounds like I hate the SFX Dual Frag Pro, but I don't. It could just be so much better.

Unit worked great for about 5 minutes and then the left hand side became inoperable. After many attempts to contact the manufacturer, I received nothing and had to return it.

I pre-order this product and had a lot of expectation, but didn't work for me. I have the FragFx V.1 that work just fine.
One of my big frustration was the accuracy and response of the mouse movement. It feels like you using a trackball for the first time. I tried to get used and see If could handle with time, but after two weeks, I'm still a lot better with my fragfx and the Sixaxis playing FPS games.
Pro: Wireless, have the digital direction on the top left instead in bottom left like FragFX v.1.
Cons: 6 AAA batteries are too much and make the controller pretty heavy. Accuracy and latency response are lame for a FPS hardcore gamer. FOR ME one other big problem is the size of the mouse and Fragchuck. I don't think I have small hands, but the size of the SFX Dual are much bigger than the previous product.
(sorry splitfish, I love you guys but so far this was the worst product that I got from you)
Anyone that still undecided can look out for some videos on youtube about the accuracy and response time this product.
